Hajnowka

A commune with over 30 percent of its area covered by forests, the larger one being the Ladzka Forest, which borders on the Białowieża Forest, Lying in the region of the Upper Narew river valley, it is a land of picturesque landscapes, rich nature and angling opportunities, It also a great places for mushroom and berry picking as well as an area for hiking, biking and canoeing, The village posesses centrally located market square was once a crossing point of trade routes.and the area houses examples of sacral wooden architecture: - a church in Narew from the 18th century and Orthodox churches from the 18th and 19th century in Narew, Koźliki, Łosinka, Tyniewicze, Odrynki, Puchały and Trześcianka. Here and there stand old votive, wooden and stone crosses, as well as ornamented wooden family homes.

In the nearby Białowieża Forest there are a number of areas under protection - nature reserves: Władysław Szafer Landscape Reserve, the Reserves of : Szczekotowo, Lipiny, Dębowy Grąd, Głęboki Kąt, Nieznanowo, Michnówka, Sitki, Starzyna, Olszanka Myślicze, Berezowo, Przewłoka.
