It was founded with the support of the local and regional community and the former Legnica Province Mayor as of 9 pioneer state vacational schools. Its aim is to prepare students during 3-year education, for future vacational careers. PWSZ students graduate with the first degree – licencjat. The graduates are granted a posibility of futher education on academic level resulting in obtaining a Master`s degree. At present over 1600 students attend the School.
