Statue located in the John Paul II Park

This is the first monument of John Paul II created by sculptor Krystyna Faldyga - Solska whose subsequently monuments of the Pontiff stand in Lódz and Poznań. Unveiled on October 16, 1999, the bronze statue stands seven and a half feet high.
