Casimir Pulaski


Casimir Pulaski was born on March 4, 1747 in Poland. He believed in freedom and fought bravely for it in Poland. He then came to America and organized the first American cavalry. George Washington gave him the title, "Father of American Cavalry," and made him a general. General Pulaski died in battle fighting for America's freedom. He is truly a hero of two countries.
