Warsaw: Life and Death in the Ghetto which the Germans established there during WWII

The isolation of the Ghetto includes a ban on newspapers from the Aryan side. Note that the people crossing the bridge are wearing an armband. Earlier, the Germans decreed that all Jews must wear a yellow armband bearing a Star of David design. Such armbands are visible on the sleeves of the pedestrians crossing the bridge. Wearing the armband remains obligatory even in the Ghetto, the population of which is entirely Jewish. Note also the presence of a policemen on duty on the bridge.
