All told there were at least 134 different ones of newspapers various kinds that appeared during the Uprising. Some begun publishing as soon as the second day of the uprising. Among these was the Buletin Informacyjny (Information Bulletin) which was published daily by Home Army Headquarters. Its publication continued without interruption till the end of the Uprising, the last number being published on October 4. A third or so were newspapers previously published secretly in the Underground. Also many were local district newspapers, and while some were meant to be posted on walls, others were distributed with the mail by the organization set up by the scouts
