Finding Families

Finding families . . . might mean simply tracing one's roots. Many Genealogic resources, societies and organizations exist that can help individuals interested in pursuing their roots.

For some, whose families have left Poland in living memory, Finding families . . . can mean, however, tracking down relatives who still live in the Polish homeland. Time and again people who have followed a seemingly cold trail have, to their own joyous surprise, found living realatives. Carolyn Bermingham's piece is a particularly well described instance of such event.
