The site provides illustrations, Latin names and Polish language description for butterfly species observed in Poland. At present only 20 species are presented. The database, the result of field studies begun in 1986 and carried out by 220 recorders in 10km grid system, provides cartographic information, in a form of a dot-map in UTM grid system, regarding where these butterflies were observed in the period under study.
