 The Association, which functions under the aegis of the Polish Senate, has as its goal of enhancing Poland's links with the world wide Polonia and Poles living abroad, helping them maintaing their Polish language alive an d Polish culture alive, and assisting them in their diverse needs. The initiator of the Association and its continuing president is Prof. Andrzej Stelmachowski, the first Marshal of the Senate following its reestablishment in 1989. |
